Ladies and gentlemen, get those typing thumbs fired up -- it's so close now, we can almost feel that dual hinge flipping to and fro in our hands. Sources tell us we can expect at least an online launch of the Samsung U740 on February 14, with units filtering into stores about a week later. Full retail should run $320, one year contract pricing at $250, and two year at $200 with a $50 mail-in rebate.

What is the samsung innovation? -> ~They copied the clamshell from motorola -> copied the slider from siemens -> copied the flipflop break-a-lot design from the cokain n93

But two advantages of the U740 over the N93: - It has a QWERTY keyboard;
- It's not a Nokia.
But I've got the feeling that it'll be sold only in the USA...

Actually, from Samsung, I prefer a double-slider they have. It slides down to reveal a D-pad and number keys, and slides sideways to reveal a QWERTY keyboard. Dunno if it was WM, though.

Janielsen, It's one of the fastest phones on the planet. It has one of the best cameras on the planet. And it's Symbian S60, so it runs a lot applications.

What's wrong with the N93? Okay it's size is hillerious, but else. Have you ever held one in your hand? With all that weight concentrated on the upper part, your wrist should get tired quickly! Seeing those pics always makes me
