ok, i got one lumber for my x45 series, but it is 11 pin and not 12. I got it from my old pholips 400 series 4x cd recorder for pc. Lucky i need the 2, 11 and 12 pin to make a audio adapter

No. That i did was: Ground on pin 12 Right on pin 11 and left on pin 2 the pin 1 is the missing one, so, no problem.
Btw, my solder finished, and i glued the remaining wires w\ superglue. Plus, the flex was about 6cm long

There is no need to buy a cheap headset for the plug. You can split the wire/flex cable, because you don't use pin 3,4,5 and 6. Then you can move than piece to the correct place... I'm not so good at explaining with words, so I made a simple pic:

If you look the slim Lumberg connector from above, contacts facing up, which end is the pin 1? Left or right?

Thank you for info. Now I have a adapter that I made few days ago. I was extra careful with soldering (which im always ) I had one handsfree set (from my CX65) and I took the connector from it. I had one cheap/broken/cr*p china-radio which was the donator of headphone jack. I glued the jack connector to the base of Lumberg so the jack is facing right when it is attached to the phone. I thought it would be nicer to have it face right than down or left. I raised the upper pins of Lumberg to ease the next steps. Then I cut the pins of the jack connector that it would be as compact as possible. (Note that ground pin is not yet cut in the pic) I also cut some plastics around the R and L + pins so the soldering would be easier. Then I applied some hot-setting adhesive between the upper and lower pins of Lumberg. I used a wire with one conductor, it was from old philips amplifiers "internal communications" I have no pics about soldering and the little tweaking I had to do with the wires. I placed the plastic shield of wire even to the shortest "jumpers" But here is some pics with the wires connected. (Note that the R + wire is the one with indicator) Hope Y'all liked my little project. There's more to come, some testing and some sort of casing for it. I might make it from epoxy and paint it matt black. One question: Should the audio ground be in contact to the metal sheet of Lumberg connector? You can find all the pics hereP.S: All the pictures taken with S88 (love that camera) with digital zoom around 8x and then cropped them smaller. Much better than without zoom. At least easier to get good pics.
