making mid from mp3 is difficult, because the mid only play instrumentals, and fiding all the instruments to make one playable midi... is hell

And that's why ppl have to do it manually. Search for midis on www.vanbasco.comBut I haven't given up this program yet! I'll post (upload) it as soon as possible.

It is as I thought. This Audio -> midi converter supports only one instrument at the same time. So it is not possible to convert MP3 music to midi unless it is only a solo instrument track. I can give you an example. I play some piano, record it, and convert it to midi

WalkthroughFirst, download this example mp3 that we are going to work with: www.paper-racing.com/dl/julia.mp3(right click and save) As you can hear, this is an MP3 with only one instrument (piano)! 1. Load this file into MP3 to ringtone gold, and mark the whole song. 2. Click on mid. Click next (notice where the converted WAV file was saved). 3. In the new window that appeared, open the Wav file that was just converted (in this case it is julia.wav). 4. Click the "Create new midi file..." button. In this case the tempo is 96. Just let the timebase be 500. 5. Click "Create". 6. Now click the "Convert WAVE file to MIDI track..." icon (beside the "open icon") 7. Select "sound type" (in this case select "Piano", because the MP3 is piano instrument) 8. Click "Start", and wait till it's finished. 9. Now click "add to track" (below MIDI results). 10. Write a name for the midi, and finally save it.

when speaking of mp3 files, I know that the ringotne gold has option to cut and edit mp3, but yesterday my friend gave me a program for cutting and editing an mp3. The program is called mp3 Easy Cut and can be found here: mpesch3.de1.cc/mp3dc.htmlI tried the program, but I didn't like it best (I din't like it because I have a miserble PC configuration and wokred a bit slow), but I hope some of you will find it usefull.
