Good day peeps,
Sinds a couple of day i am the proud owner of a EF81, by looking in to the forums i could find, i was able to update my phone from FW31 to Fw58 and it works great accept for 1 thing; i can't connect to the internet with GPRS. I got all the settings from my provider (Vodafone NL) and when i try to connect it says after a short time 'network disabled' or when i try Vodafone live! it tels me 'server not responding' so i close the browser and come to the datastreamscreen what says 'receive 0kb' and 'send 8kb'.
Anybody else had this same problem? Is there a fix for it? My German is very poor so the German sites ar to differ cult.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Ronald.

welcome to sr-f!
Did you entered the connections manually? and do you have the gprs\3g services enabled on your sim card? you need to activate them

1; Yes i did. I have been trying a differend simcard (with the new firmware the sim lock is gone, LOL) and that one works, it was a card from debitel, had to enter the settings aswell :\ (Lazy!) The Vodafone Sim didn't work in my s65 either so it is the d**n sim. Still think that is strange cause it worked before so how do i activate these services on my sim??
PS thanks for the quick reply. R.

you need to call your service provider to activate them on your sim card.
I've got vodafone too, but i'm from portugal. I copied the settings from my M65 and entered manually in SXG75 (EF81 is the same without some goodies).
Probably me as you, are missing something.
Indeed, i am able to send MMS's, check my mail, use oprra mini and that stuff, except the standart browser.
Can you send\receive MMS's? If yes, that means you already have GPRS or 3G activated, because that messaging system needs GPRS or 3G to work.
If you send me the configurations you had on your S65, i might help you at least to try to find the problem.
