So on club-siemens janielsen has posted pictures and stuff of one of the newer firmwares that is compatible with the EF81, and is apparentl a mix between ef81 and ef82 firmware.
Does anyone know where I can get that? ... Sandy?? or... janielsen? hehe

The thing I would most like to have from the EF82 FW is the shuffle option for the Media Player. Then again, I play MP3 mostly in the car, and for that I have my PDA, which is connected to the car's audio system. So I don't have that much necessity for the SXG75's player.

Interesting! Maybe it's possible to "copy" some brew files from SL91 to EF81 or SXG75? Maybe ZeeM can help

A bit OT, There is one mod to have SXG75 as "SXG91" and it involves to copy the brew mod folder from one SL91, i've got it somewhere in the rprogramming sections, inside the link i gave in the menu modding. Afaik, it won't go properly wit EF81. For that, you need the files from EF82, and you, or me, don't know how to mix those two

No, because it Was a pure siemens phone, made in germany, like SL91. So, we'll never see it for sales.

Ok, so I've got a hold of the ef82 firmware. How is it possible to make it compatible with the EF81 like janielsen did?

Hm... ok I read those links, it seems like it's possible to udpate it to the ef82 svn by just deleting one file right? But then I wont' be really using the full EF82 version... You somehow seemed to make a really good hybrid between the 2. What did you do?

Well, I understood he used one EF82 display on his EF81, and did his own tweaks.
