Thanks for the link. But, personally, I prefer SUPER, because it can deal with more types of files, and is freeware too.

I agree with DireWolf. "Super" is easy to use and has many parameters and codec options to play with

yes, and i use super to convert my 3gp files to the mpeg4 codec with 320x240 resolution to see on my milky way

BTW, what settings do you guys use to convert from 3GP? I have some "home videos" recorded from my phones and would like to have them on a "useable" format, but all conversions I tried came out with large chunks of image being left over with movement. I tried AVI (DivX standard), MPG and WMV with various setiings, yet the problem remains (but not with the original videos).
