If you have a C75 or ME75, then you're lucky: High quality ringtones are now possible thanks to a new patch that allows the phone to play wave files (IMA ADPCM) up to 44,1 khz and around 176 kbps! Although it's 4-bit and mono, it sounds pretty fresh and good Almost like 128 kbit mp3. The patch ("8000 - 44000Hz *.wav files playing") can be found here: patches.kibab.com/patches/details.php5?id=7181If you have ME75, then it should be converted to C75 (with x65flasher phone model rename, a FW22 winswup and a power-up patch) before you can apply the wav patch. Use the following program to convert your MP3 files into Wav IMA ADPCM, 4-bit, mono, 8000-44100 hz. Bitrate will be automatically adjusted.
