Hello everyone to update your SX1 it's very simple just follow these steps: 1-> Download the Firmware (isn't hard right? Wink ) 2-> Backup your SX1 C Drive using the SDS software on pc or using the Memory function on your mobile to create a backup on the MMC card ( if you prefer to make a backup using the memory function of the SX1 don't forget to desactivate the FScaller (if it's installed of course) to enable the Contacts backup or you get an error "unable to backup 2 files") 3-> Download the Attached file (Siemens_SX1_swup_drivers.rar) extract the files to any folder like Desktop for example 4-> Turn off your phone remove your MMC Card Hold your joystick down (center button)) and while holding it turn on the phone you'll be in a new menu that inform you that your mobile is ready to be updated 5-> connect the phone to your PC 6-> the windows will detect new hardware and request for drivers the drivers are the extracted files of the attached archive 7-> once your SX1 recognised, run the update select "serial config", on the bottom right there's "usb serial config" select "usb only" and just on the left select the usb for me the usb0 worked 8-> don't uncheck any checkbox, leave everything checked!!! 9-> start update and wait UNTILL you see "All Done" 10-> Turn on your SX1, enter the date , time settings 11-> Restore your phone's setting and everything ( the reverse of the step 2 12-> Congratulations [ Download the SWUP driver here] Note! Many thanks to Gandalf from siemens-mobiles.org for this nice tutorial!
