winhex is pretty hard stuff .. i used to know how to use but that was ages agoo
maybe u should try any ready made fw mod graspers one or the cristal fw one i posted it will be much easier

i know by apatcher .. but i was talkin bout the oold days .. winhex was used for patching as i recall dude
