Ok folks. We allready said here the E81 was firstly a BenQ phone. Then, on the spy movie we spoken about hibridism. (Brew platform from siemens, and hardware from benq, apart the siemens nano-lumberg connector, and design stuff) Now, lets take this deeper... AS Stylemaster from club siemens sated, this phone is based on SXG75\EF81 generation. They use the Qualcomm chipsets. While EF82, SXG75, and the most beautifull slider, SL91 are using the 6250 chip, the E81 is using the 6250A chip. The differences regarding those chips are: 6250A supports SDIO 6250 has QVM™ Java® J2ME™ hardware acceleration www.cdmatech.com/docs_details/chip_tool/chip_results.jsp?chip=28&chip=29(thanks to stylemaster for that link) The E81 most probably will not support the SDIO, but there goes one link about that info: www.sdcard.com/usa/TextPage.asp?Page=5Will be nice to see SDIO on future phones. What we have to conclude here? This still hybridism, and more deeper than we thought at first. The genes came from SXG75, and the design came from BenQ to put it simple, but there is more... The knowledge of the 2 brands are working toghether, and next 3G phones will be "Brewable", also it is time to stop thinking in BenQ development, or Siemens development.

What is an SDIO Card?SDIO (Input/Output) card is an interface that extends the functionality of devices with SD card slots. A variety of SDIO cards are being developed, such as a Camera, Bluetooth®, GPS, and 802.11b. Of course, the host device for the SDIO Card will also be able to use the SD Memory Card. source: www.sdcard.com/usa/TextPage.asp?Page=5
