This is one copy-paste from one article at siemensplanet, by ahmedhosni2002! Thanks man!I've made about 7 x65 siemens accessories for now.
- Three 3.5mm audio converters
- Two USB DCA-540 data cables
- One Car charger
- One Aikon to Siemens charger adapter (u know Siemens phones & chargers are rare in Egypt)
One major obstacle when creating an accessory is the connector, I had to search for an old headset or data cable for just cutting its slim lumberg connector.
But I managed to create my own (Open source
) connectors from nothing.
So, I checked all cables & wires in my garage & found it
. It's a cable like ones inside:
1- CD-ROM drives (I had two dead ones)
2- CD players (an old Sony Hi-Fi)
3- Inkjet printers (a dead Epson)
it's the only suitable type because the distance between its wires is the same as it's between those in the phone connector
like this one
=================================
for one slim lumberg, you need about 4CM long, 14-wire wide of this cable in average.
I could get about 3 Meters of this cable
Phone connector needs 12 wires, but you'll cut a 14-wire wide piece of this cable (the extra 2 wires are not to be connected, but for best fit into phone)
Then it's easy to (expose) the 12 wires at both ends
--------
Then find or make a (base) of plastic or rubber with diemensions fitting into the phone. Glue the cable over the plastic base.
That's all
