Well guys I've opned my CX70 and here are the pics I took while working on it... I made the pictures in 640x480 resolution because the original ones are 2048x1536 resolution and it would take some time to load them... This is the working set (the screwdrivers) The back part od the phone - battery, battery cover and sim card The front cover of the phone... The motrherboard and the back cover... The motherboard... The back cover... The front "face"... All parts... covers and so on... This is my "cleaning set" - on the left - 40% alcohol, on the right - nail polisher remover.... and of course - some towels... The motherboard - up close and personal... The back of the back cover The front of the back cover The camera closeup, actually, the part on the right is the camera lens that can be removed - it can be screwed and unscrewed... Now, I have a question.... After I put the phone together and I noticed that the camera (on the back of the phone) looks like it has been withdrawed in the phone... I can't seem to remeber whether there was a protecting lens on the phone's cover or not... now it looks like there is a part missing cause the camera is more inside than before... I tried to unscrew the camera to fit the cover but then the pictures were blurry... I will post a closeup picutre so where this can be seen more easily... Please help guys, ciz right now the phone is very vurnerable because a liquid or dust can get very easily inside since there is this hole between the camera and the cover (this hole wasn't there before)... Taka care. Btw, I hope you like the pictures....

Did you inserted that white plastic inside the rear cover? also that white plastic have one little black protection joint, try to see if you haven't lost that, and is somewere below your table. Nice pics!

Nice pics indeed! But I'm sorry I can't help you with the problem, as I have never opened a Siemens phone.

I inserted the white plastic inside the rear cover - I looked trough my room thorougly for 3 times and found nothing... All the parts are here but the whole is bigger than before... anyway, I plan to open it again and to unsrew the camera lens in order to fix the cover, I tried this but if the lens are unscrewed more than they're supposed to - the pictures are a bit blurry. I will try to work with the phone ON while I screw and unsrew the camera so I can see when the pic becomes blurry and to see if then would fit the cover. Anyway, I formated the phone today... and everything went to hell... Take care...

I've been working on this darn problem for whole 5 hours and I realized that the cover is the cause here - it is kinda big so the camera would fit. After a recomendation by SandStrom (thank you SS for this idea I inserted a black rubber in order to fill the whole...It fitted ok, but another problem occured - there is another hole at the external antenna, but it is a small one (this made me come to the conslussion that with the openig there the cover got loosen or something like that)... The problem that took me a great deal of effort and time was setting the camera lens (the one that can be screwed and unscrewed) so the camera would produce quality images... One should be extra carefull when doing this since it requires a lot of nerves and a lot fo precission... My recomendation to ALL Siemens users is: Don't open your phone at your own risk, take it to a pesron (or a company) that's in the mobile phone business, those people really know their job well . Take care... btw, now I will spend 2 more hours trying to get back my phone into the prevous state (as it was before the format)...

Well, at least you managed the camera issue My M65 also have that antenna gap, but on my case is good because the protective rubber fit well there. Good luck with your phone memory restoring man

I don't have enough energy to retell the whole story about my M65. The story is still going on.... But I can tell you the current situation: Siemens did not accept my letter of complaint about repairing my M65. They want to send it to a special organisation, which includes that we're talking about big money and time It may take months before I can see results... I stand strong in the case, but they are "strong" too. Don't wanna mess with big stuff... Conclusively this sucks! And so does BQS's support! [Sry for entering offtopic mode/do not make a big discussion about this]

Sorry about going off topic too but I couldn't help myself Don't tell me about Benq's support - it sucks I wrote them 20 messages about a camera setting and other 20 messages a feww days ago for t9 languages... And all they could do was sending me a link where there is some sort of an on-line help that didn't help me at all... nevertheless, the issue on the on-line help had nothing to do with the question I asked... Btw, can't you Service Provider locate your phone using the IMEI - because when the phone is in stand-by it transmits data forward the service provider's access point - among those data is the IMEI number itself... so the service provider according to the phone's signal can locate the phone in matter of seconds - depending on how many access points are nearby - it can locate the phone (and the current user of the phone) - it can even tell you on what water level it is on i.e. if it is in a boulding or somekind, it can tell you on which floor... I know this because a frined of mine worked at our national service provider and knows a great deal about mobile phones and their eternal operations as weel as netwroks (I mean all networks, not merely lan or wlan)...

But in our country for repairing they take only 24hours! but if you send your phone from another city through diler then they take 1 week! And if in your phone have and hardware problem then they take money (about 30$ ) and change it in new phone!!Also they do many hazards..I hate them...From that i think siemens is a dam phone!! though i'm using this.
