I checked my C72. It has U2, so it's made in Feb. 2006 But the code was NOT on the same sticked as the IMEI, but on the sticked with brand and model number.

My SL45 (the one I'm currently using) has "N6" written above the "attention" symbol. So, it was made in June 2001... makes sense.

Yes, died by its own. First, started to have bad contact, untill finally it don't respond anymore to the plug in charger and front keypad. I opened to try to fix, but couldn't open totally, because it had one screw protected that i couldn't remove, and didn't wanted to break it. So, it lay near the ME45

My S35i is from May 2001 Yes, some of the last units The SL10, well, it was the flexcable that makes the connection to the front panel that broke. i don't have flexcables for it... for sure if i can find one, it will be working.

The SL10, well, it was the flexcable that makes the connection to the front panel that broke. i don't have flexcables for it... for sure if i can find one, it will be working. What type of flexicable is it? Does it has many small conductors, or not that small? Is it a multilayer, or single layer?. Maybe you can solder it?
