Thank you for the nv files, they helped with the signal and messages. But I still can't access the bottom three buttons. Any suggestions?

Yes, I am. Ok, I will try to update it again. Do you know where I can find the brew root?

Sorry for the double post... I used my back-up and tried to back up my ef81... It says that the file/directory has been blocked by the company, what can I do?

No, I was using bitpim. And I don't think that my phone was branded, but it had some t-mobile icons, but it can accept any card. Anyway, I tried several ways to install fw58 and I still can't reach the buttons, should I install fw48?

even unlocked, it was branded for tmobile, thats why yes, you can put fw48. if all goes smooth, download bmc from bezysoftware.net and backup the phone with it. bmc is much more faster than bitpim on this, as less errors occur. once you backed it up, go for fw 58, no matter if is german, or russian, and load it. test the phone, and if u want, put back the backup of fw48. your problems might be caused by the old backup you had.

I tried what you said but I still couldn't reach the buttons. I think that I will stick with fw48 for now.
