I'm with Iver! Don't upgrade to Vista unless you HAVE to. It's still to new, so they haven't got everything working 100%. A friend have tried it with dual-boot together with XP (he uses an boot-up manager), and both me and he finds Vista a bit uncompleted. Still feels like it's in the end of the beta stage. Not everything is working as it should, not all components in compatible with eachother. And there is still problems with drivers and softwares.

Yeah, I too won't "upgrade" to Vista until I really need to. Besides, both my computers are too weak for it, and I have no use for that shiny Aero interface.

Upgraded my memory today, and enabled the dual channel. Well, until now, I am very happy with Vista. My system is solid, and i don't see bugs. Have all my devices working (periferals) ok with it, because i have way to tweak it to work Of course, the OS is new, and some old stuff don't work at first. I still remember you, guys, when XP appeared. All of you: XP is bullsh*t, i'll stick with 98. Me: XP is gay, just one 2000 pro with luna interface. After 7 years: All: XP, XP, XP Me: 2000 pro -> Vista

Haha ;D You're quite hard-headed, Sandstorm Why is XP gay? lool... I'll have to upgrade the RAM in my laptop before I upgrade to Vista - I currently have only 512 mb. My desktop has got 1 gb ram.

Well, all MS OS are just crap. I'm going to buy one or two new HDD this mounth and then convert my last computer into Linux world (maybe not this mounth for the convert, but it will most likely be done this summer).

No need to buy one pc, if it can just got another ram module. Finixman, i am running with 512 ram too. But my processor is powerful Btw, tomorrow will buy one 512mb ddr2 memory from kingston, to have 1gb, and make the dual channel to have it faster. oh nice, i think for comfortable use we should use 1gb ram for vista . My processor is intel pentium D 2.66 ghz . Is it powerfull ?

I'll stick with Mandriva. But this time I'm going to pay for it, so I get full Windows-exe-support. So I can play WoW under Linux

man, the best WoW is all of us going to Spank BenQ pentium D? isn't it celeron D? Anyway, mono core intel processors can't blast up amd mono core processors. The minimum for Vista is one processor at 1.0Ghz. The recommended, is one Pentium 4 at 2.0Ghz. But for AMD processors, the story is another
